Our Story

No-Hands Rest was founded on a simple idea — to be motivated by friendship.

In 2023, inside an abandoned shopping centre, we built the first version of N-HR Coffee. What began as a small coffee bar quickly became something more. We didn’t just open a café we helped bring new energy to a community that once thrived along the River Kent.

The space filled. Conversations grew. Events followed. What started between friends became a busy coffee house built on creativity, loyalty, and the belief that coffee should bring people together.

As we grew, so did our ambition.

To protect our future and raise our standards, we began roasting our own coffee not just to put our name on it, but to shape it. Every profile developed in a real café environment. Built for espresso. Balanced for milk. Sweet, reliable, and designed to perform under pressure.

We roast with a coffee shop first approach because we are one.

Now, we partner with like-minded cafés who value community as much as quality independent businesses who want substance behind the cup.
