Growing by roasting our own coffee in-house

In 2025 we chose to roast our own coffee deliberately and responsibly.

By taking control of the roasting process, we’re able to make decisions that prioritise people, quality, and the environment over short-term convenience. Roasting in-house allows us to respond thoughtfully to market changes, keeping our prices fair and accessible without compromising on standards.

It also gives us the freedom to roast in ways that are more environmentally responsible, to develop a wider and more considered range of coffees, and to share our work through wholesale partnerships that align with our values.

This is about building something sustainable for our customers, our partners, and the future of coffee.

Our latest team member.

We invested in the latest generation of coffee roasting technology.

Our roaster is fully electric, ventless, and automated; removing the need for gas lines, external ventilation and building work. This allows us to roast with precision and consistency while significantly reducing environmental impact.

By choosing an all-electric system, we’ve created a setup that makes high-quality roasting more accessible, consistent, and more sustainable.

Expanding How We Share Our Coffee

As part of our move to roasting in-house, we’re preparing to make our coffee available both directly to customers and through wholesale partnerships.

For retail, this means freshly roasted coffee sold in smaller batches, with greater variety and more control over quality from roast to cup. It allows us to stay close to the process and to the people who drink our coffee every day.

For wholesale, we’re opening up carefully considered partnerships with cafés, studios, offices, and retailers who share our values. Roasting in-house gives us the ability to offer consistent, high-quality coffee at fair and stable prices, while maintaining environmentally responsible practices.

This next step is about growing thoughtfully expanding our reach without losing what matters: quality, fairness, and long-term sustainability.

More details on availability and partnerships will be shared soon.

LuSiD

Our first in-house blend.

A coffee shaped by where we started, what we make, and what we value — creativity, design, and accessibility. Created to be shared widely, and enjoyed daily. This medium roasted Brazilian origin is nutty in character and deepens into toasted almond and peanut, balanced by caramel and creamy chocolate.
